Liphook Golf Club

Dress and Etiquette

COURTESY AND COMMON SENSE, PLEASE!

Please  CLICK HERE to view Liphook's Golf Etiquette. It has been written to remind everyone who plays at Liphook that we all have a duty to take care of the Course, to play at a decent pace and to be courteous to other golfers and to the Green Staff.

Principles

> We want everyone to feel relaxed, comfortable and welcome at Liphook Golf Club
> We ask that all Members and Visitors dress with respect and consideration for others, in keeping with the character and standing of our fantastic golf club.

Clubhouse

> Unless an occasion requires something more formal, appropriate golf attire and smart casual wear, including tailored shorts, are welcomed. All caps and hats should be removed.

> Spiked golf shoes are not permitted in the club lounge or dining room.

Course

> We ask that appropriate golf attire is worn including golf shoes for your safety.

Bunkers

As it differs from club to club, we would point out our bunker rakes are left IN the bunkers after use, not outside or part-in.

Dogs

When around the vicinity of the clubhouse or on the terrace, as a courtsey to other members who may not be comfortable around dogs, please keep pets close and on a lead.

Visitors

We hope you enjoy your visit to Liphook, and if you have any questions about dress, the Secretary or Bar Staff are here to help.
